My Mother had prepaid her cremation and funeral to be interred next to my Father in their plot. However, the funeral home sold her a beautiful square, wooden urn and a concrete vault to go in the ground that was NOT waterproof. Their suggestion was to buy a more expensive vault but they were not guaranteed waterproof. I measured our wooden urn and I had 1/8" clearance if the Seller's measurement was accurate. IT WORKED! Had room to add mementos and photos. My parents kept their important documents in an Ammunition box my Father brought home from WWII - I wanted to use theirs but it was too small and not water proof. When I told the Family and friends what I had done - they all approved and said my parents would love it because 'my Mother was a 'pistol'" with a big smile on their faces! FYI - you can find waterproof vaults on Amazon and online but they are 'waterproof' because they include a little tube of glue. That wasn't comforting to me. This product is tested and tough.
