This item was ordered to replace the clockwise rotating motor on my DJI Phantom 3 (advanced) quad-copter.The packaging indicated it was a DJI Phantom 3 Part# 8 CW motor. However, I found the opposite, in that the motor threads were black in color, similar to the counter clockwise motors on my model, and that my clockwise silver tipped propellers would not thread onto the replacement motor.My only recourse was to return the product, and search further for an answer.To confuse matters, a different retailer of the same product was also advertising these particular motors as having black threads as well.To the best of my knowledge DJI Phantom series Quad-Copters have always distinguished the motors with silver colored threads as a clockwise rotating motor, and those with black colored threads as a counter rotating motor.
